
Beatrix Theatre
The Beatrix Theatre is a theatre and congress hall in Utrecht. The building is owned by the Utrecht Jaarbeurs (trade fair) and the theatre section has a long-term lease with Joop van den Ende Productions. The theatre now has approximately 1500 seats and is mainly used for musicals, concerts, and other theatrical performances. During the day, the hall can be used for conferences and meetings, whether or notin conjunction with the exhibition floors and commercial spaces in the adjacent Beatrix Building. The Theatre Building
The theatre was designed by architect Arno Meijs. He also designed the AFAS Circustheater in The Hague and the DeLaMar Theater in Amsterdam. The atmospheric theatre was furnished with attention to detail by Joop and Janine van den Ende. The theatre hall has over 1500 seats.
