The Anne Frank House is a special place where you can experience how Anne Frank and her family were in hiding for over two years during the Second World War. Access to their hiding place was concealed behind a specially made revolving bookcase. On August 4, 1944, the family was betrayed and deported to concentration camps. Today, the rooms in the Anne Frank House tell the story of this difficult period. Quotes from Anne's world-famous diary, original photos, and belongings of those in hiding bring history to life. Here you can also see Anne Frank's original checkered diary. For more information and tickets, please visit the Anne Frank House website.
