Operation Night Watch
In the Rijksmuseum you'll find The Night Watch, Rembrandt van Rijn's most famous painting. You really must see this impressive painting (almost four meters high and over four meters wide)! Operation Night Watch is also in full swing. After five years of intensive research, the restoration of The Night Watch started at the end of 2024. Currently, the old varnish is being removed to optimally preserve the artwork for future generations. This is being done with great precision in full view of the public, making your visit very special!
