What to expect from the Kubuswoningen Rotterdam

Designed by Piet Blom, the Kubuswoningen are a bold architectural experiment. Each house is a tilted cube resting on a hexagonal pillar, symbolising a tree — together forming an abstract forest.

The complex includes 38 residential cubes and 13 business units. One of the homes, the Show Cube, is open to the public so visitors can experience what it’s like to live inside such an unusual space. You’ll also find the Art Cube, a small gallery for local artists, and the Chessmen Museum.
